REBATES & INCENTIVES
For most people buying a new car, van, truck or sport-utility is the second-largest purchase they will ever make. It is important that buyers do their homework and get all the facts before they sign on the dotted line. Many automakers offer consumer incentives in the form of cash-back rebates or cut-rate financing to lure new vehicle buyers into the showroom.
Buyers need to understand that these rebates come with restrictions and are time sensitive. In addition, the rebates and incentives might not be available on all models of the same make. For example, customer cash might be available on some trim levels while cut-rate financing might be available on others. Either way, it's in everyone's best interest to get these incentives out in the open.
In most cases, customer cash is available to any buyer and can be applied to the down payment of the new vehicle. Cut-rate financing usually comes with restrictions and is often limited to buyers with good credit ratings. Customer cash and cut-rate financing are rarely applied to the same deal. In most cases buyers must choose between the cash and financing.
Below you'll find a list of current rebates & incentives. It's as complete as possible, but it is also likely that some special programs have been omitted. Rather than demanding that any rebates or incentives be applied to your sale, it is best talk with the dealer about which options are best for you. In many cases cash back or cut-rate financing are available on the same vehicle, so it would be in the buyer's best interest to see which option will save them more money over time. |
