2009 MERCURY SABLE: Unveiled at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show and built in Chicago, Mercury Sable continues to offer a mid-size sedan offering reasonable room and the availability of front or all wheel drive. Standard is a 3.5-liter Duratec V-6, rated at 263-hp, attached to a six speed automatic. Changes for '09 are found on the paint chip chart. Sable offers customers a sophisticated look, with Mercury?s signature satin aluminum waterfall grille, jeweled projector beam headlamps that sweep up over the front fenders, distinctive white lens LED taillights with red accent stripes, and chrome tips on the dual exhaust system.
