2009 SATURN AURA: Improved fuel economy is a highlight of the '09 Saturn Aura mid-sized sedan. A 169-hp 2.4 liter four XR joins the lineup, complete with a six speed automatic transmission. It remains the standard engine in the XE. Also available for the XR is the 3.6 liter V-6, rated at 252 hp. It too gets the six-speed. There is also a Hybrid, covered elsewhere. StabiliTrak stability control is now standard on all models. Heated leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are now standard on the XR. Inside the front wheel drive sedan?s 5-passenger cabin, premium materials with low-gloss appearance are accented by chrome trim and the trunk can accommodate 14.9 cu. ft. of luggage.
