Ford GT350 Mustang

2015 FORD GT350 Mustang: It’s hard to believe, but it was 50-years ago when the original Shelby GT350 was introduced. Building on that heritage, the 2015 Shelby GT350 Mustang features a high-revving, naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V-8 engine developed for track-focused Mustangs.  The result is an engine that produces a throaty howl, more than 500-horsepower and a torque peak about 440 lb.-ft.  A lightweight six-speed manual gearbox comes standard, as does a Ford-tuned Torsen limited-slip differential that optimizes cornering grip and straight-line traction. Due to the significant speeds the car can develop, GT350 features the most track-credible brake system ever offered on a Ford vehicle in terms of absolute stopping power, fade resistance and brake pedal feel. The 2015 Ford GT350 Mustang makes use of extra-stiff 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels – 10.5 inches wide in front, 11.0 inches in the rear – clad in state-of-the-art Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires designed to deliver maximum grip on the road or at the track. Visually, GT350 makes use of extra-stiff 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels – 10.5 inches wide in front, 11.0 inches in the rear – clad in state-of-the-art Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires with GT350-specific sidewall construction, tread face and compound. The custom tires are designed to deliver maximum grip on the road or at the track. Visually, the GT350’s bodywork from the windshield forward is unique to this high-performance model and up to two inches lower than Mustang GT. The athletic stance is accentuated with re-contoured aluminum front fenders with vented inner fenders, forward-angled grille, cooling ducts for the front brakes and a subtle lip spoiler on the decklid.  The four-passenger cockpit has been optimized for driving, containing unique Recaro leather-trimmed sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, special gauges, Shaker Audio and eight-inch MyFord Touch LCD touch screen.
