2015 HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE: A popular model in the Hyundai exhibit at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show is the latest Genesis Coupe. For 2015, the Genesis Coupe is available in 3.8 Base, 3.8 R-Spec and 3.8 Ultimate trim levels. All models come with the high-performance, 348-horspower 3.8-liter direct-injected V-6. Delivering all those horses to the rear wheels is a six-speed manual gearbox or new automatic transmission with eight-speeds and paddle-shift manual-shifting capability. The automatic is engineered to precisely rev-matches engine RPM for smooth downshifts into corners. Governed top speed is 145 mph. Gone is the four-cylinder powertrain. For 2015, Genesis Coupe offers a number of key enhancements to the rear-drive, high-output performance sport coupe for everyday enthusiasts. Aggressive styling includes a "Z"-shaped bodyside character line, redefined front fascia, grille, headlights, fog lights and hood with heat extractor cues. Bold exterior matches the dynamic performance from the pair of powerplants offered.. The 2015 Genesis Coupe interior offers a leather steering wheel with more premium grade of leather. The instrument panel crash pad features a stitched-seam appearance, and the instrument cluster contains an electroluminescent gauge cluster for premium ambience and superior readability. A driver-side rear seat walk-in assist function provides convenient rear seat access from the driver’s side. A center stack multi-gauge cluster with instantaneous mpg, torque level (3.8 models) or turbocharger boost pressure (2.0T models), and oil temperature is standard on all trims. Sport front seats with deep side bolsters offer superb lateral support for enthusiastic driving in all trim configurations. For 2014, R-Spec seat bolsters are even deeper for extra support during spirited driving. Hyundai's proprietary telematics platform, Blue Link, is now available, providing Genesis Coupe owners with a variety of infotainment services to meet their individual connectivity needs. Fresh styling cues include a new front fascia, grille, headlights, fog lights, hood designs, LED-enhanced taillights plus unique 18- and 19-inch rims.
