Acura ILX
2016 ACURA ILX: The all-new 2016 Acura ILX four-door is the entry-luxury sedan to the Acura lineup. For 2016, the Acura ILX styling presents a fresh grille design, signature Jewel Eye LED headlights, a distinctive lowered front end and reworked standard 17-inch wheels. Around back, the rear fascia has a new profile, and the trunk lid and LED taillights have been refashioned. Interior upgrades include leatherette surfaces with contrasting Euro-style stitching and new high-intensity silver trim for the roomy, five-passenger cabin. The ILX Premium and ILX Technology Plus packages include leather, navigation system, premium audio and Siri Eyes Free. A great driving experience on all models starts with the standard 201-horsepower 2.4-liter 16-value, direct-injected DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder engine. That gives the ILX a great power to weight ratio for a front-wheel-drive vehicle. The new engine comes mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with torque converter and paddle-controlled sequential sport shift for smoother, more powerful launches. Thanks to Acura's next-generation ACE body structure, the ILX is stiffer, and provides 12.3 cu. ft. of luggage space in its tailored trunk. Newly available features include a radar backup for your blind spot, a high-tech "tape measure" to detect vehicles ahead of you, and a new infotainment system that includes an upper eight-inch monitor and a lower seven-inch touchscreen.
