Acura MDX

2016 ACURA MDX: As a top-selling three-row luxury SUV, the Acura MDX continues to improve with multiple upgrades for 2016. Now in its third generation, the new MDX comes equipped with an advanced nine-speed automatic transmission, push-button electronic gear selector, and a new Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. All models are equipped with the 3.5-liter, 24-valve i-VTEC direct-injected V-6. Speaking of models, there are 16 individual trim packages for 2016 that allow customers to build and price the MDX to their taste and requirements. The trim levels range from the basic MDX to the top-tier MDX SH-AWD with Advance, Entertainment & Acura Watch Plus Packages. Numerous luxury enhancements include a frameless rearview mirror, Siri Eyes Free voice recognition, an easy-entry/exit driver's seat that moves 35 mm rearward when the driver's door is opened, TPMS fill assist that sounds an audible alert when the driver inflates the tire to the correct pressure, a multi-view angle rear camera with guidelines (standard on all models), a bi-directional remote engine starter, idle stop and head up warning. New for the '16 MDX is a road departure mitigation system that uses a monocular camera (mounted on the upper portion of the windshield) to identify solid or dashed painted lane lines. For cargo capacity, the MDX provides 14.8 cu. ft. behind the third row, 38.4 cu. ft. when third-row seats are down and 68.4 cu. ft. with both second and third-row seating folded flat.
