2016 BMW 6 SERIES: BMW bills its stunning 6 Series for 2016 as, "Luxury with an Edge," in Coupe, Convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe sedan models. For the 2016 model year, the third-generation of BMW 6 Series receives a range of enhancements. Two powerplants are offered, starting with the 315-horsepower 3.0-liter V-6, and developing an amazing 445-hp is the 4.4L V-8 fitted with two turbochargers. Both engines come mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission with automatic sport and manual shift modes, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, as well rear-wheel or four-wheel drive configurations. Top speed from a 6 Series model is electronically limited to 155 mph, and these luxury rides easily sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. The two-door 6 Series features a 2+2-cockpit that includes tailored seats for the driver, front, and rear passengers.
