2016 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY: Big news for the 2016 Chrysler Town & Country minivan is the two new models that joined the minivan lineup: Town & Country LX and the Town & Country Limited Platinum. With the additional models, the Chrysler Town & Country is now available in the United States in six different models: the Chrysler Town & Country LX, Town & Country Touring, Town & Country S, Town & Country Touring-L, Town & Country Limited and Town & Country Limited Platinum. The Town & Country models are equipped with a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 that provides best-in-class 283-horsepower with excellent fuel economy. Performance to the front wheels comes via a six-speed automatic transmission, and when equipped with the trailer tow prep package, the Town and Country has a 3,600-pound towing capacity. Among the newly available items are navigation and power third-row seats as standard equipment, industry-exclusive Blu-ray player available with HDMI input for video game systems, Stow 'n Go seating and rear backup camera. All models provide customers exquisite innovation, abundant standard safety features and the versatility they need, all at a surprising value. Known for cargo carrying capacity, the T&C's seven-passenger cabin is available with one-touch Stow 'n Go seating and when middle and third-row seats are down, there is a respectable 143.8 cubic feet of cargo carrying room.
