2016 DODGE DART: For 2016, the Dodge Dart offers entry-level compact car buyers a four-door sedan in five trim levels: SE, SXT, Aero, Limited, and GT. There are three different four-cylinder powerplants - the Tigershark 2.0-liter; a 1.4L MultiAir Intercooled Turbo and a new Tigershark 2.4-liter MultiAir engine. Horsepower ranges from 160-hp to 184-hp. The I4s can be linked to a six-speed manual, six-speed Powertech automatic or dual dry clutch six-speed automatic transmission, with highway fuel economy ratings of up to 41 mpg. Combined with responsive steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and available 18-inch wheels, the five-passenger Darts have eye-catching exterior proportions with an agile, fun-to-drive experience. New Sport Appearance hood is available as is the popular Blacktop package that contains 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, Gloss Black exterior mirrors, and all-season tires. The 2016 Dodge Dart's Uconnect Touch 8.4-inch touchscreen radio is updated to include Android smartphone compatibility for Bluetooth, voice command and streaming music and USB connectivity to play music from the device. Segment-leading safety features and innovative components pack the Dart, with easy-to-use technology, including racetrack LED tail lamps, projector headlights, integrated dual exhaust, 8.4-inch touchscreen and 7-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) reconfigurable display. From a list of more than 60 available safety and security features, there is ParkView rear backup camera, blind-spot monitoring, and electronic roll mitigation. Luggage compartment can hold 13.1 cu. ft. of groceries and consumers have their choice from nine exterior paint colors, including pearl coat shades called Go Mango and True Blue.
