2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN: As the best-selling minivan, the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan is available in four models that fit almost any lifestyle and budget: the AVP, SE, SXT and R/T. At the heart of each '16 Grand Caravan is the award-winning Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 283-horsepower, and is companioned with a smooth shifting six-speed automatic transaxle. That set-up offers a best-in-class 3,600-pound tow rating. Returning for 2016, the class-exclusive Blacktop package adds a customized blacked-out appearance, and is available on the SE Plus, SXT and SXT trim levels. Models equipped with the Blacktop Package are available in Granite Crystal, Billet Silver, Brilliant Black, Redline, Red Pearl and Bright White. The '16 Dodge Grand Caravan offers the industry-first dual-screen Blu-Ray DVD video system with four-time higher resolution is available on Crew and R/T models. An integrated trailer sway damping is standard on all models, as are 17-inch wheels, with special aluminum wheels on the Caravan SXT and R/T. The R/T also includes re-tuned shocks that work in conjunction with the higher rate springs at all four corners for quicker handling characteristics. Standard features on several Grand Caravan models includes power sliding doors, power liftgate, super center console, unique 17-inch polished aluminum wheels with Granite Crystal pockets, bright chrome roof rack, bright window trim moldings, fog lamps and automatic headlamps.
