Ford Fusion
2016 FORD FUSION: As Ford's midsize five-passenger sedan with a coupe-style profile, the 2016 Fusion is available in three distinct models - S, SE, and Titanium. Fusion offers the broadest selection of fuel-efficient powertrains in its segment. We're talking hybrid and plug-in hybrid alternatives, a trio - 1.5-liter, 2.0L, and 2.5L - EcoBoost four-cylinder engines, and automatic start-stop technology to shut off the engine at stationary idle. Buyers have their selection of front wheel or all-wheel drive applications, and a six-speed automatic transmission is standard with all engines. Horsepower ratings range from 175-up to 240-hp. Once again, Fusion offers a hybrid-electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Topping the fuel-efficiency ladder is the Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid, aimed to deliver more than 100 MPGe, a mile per gallon equivalency metric for electrified vehicles. Fusion is offered with the latest technologies, including blind spot Information System with cross-traffic alert, lane keeping technology, adaptive cruise control, active park assist, and voice control MyFord touch system. New this model year is the S appearance package with 18-in. premium painted aluminum wheels, front fog lamps, and a rear spoiler. While at the Chicago Auto Show, ask the Ford representative about the SE cold weather package that adds PowerCode remote start system, heated cloth seats and all-weather floor mats. A new color called Shadow Black is added to the Fusion paint chart. Inside, the new Fusion offers a sporty, driver-oriented environment with five-passenger seating, and a 16.0 cu. ft. trunk for luggage or groceries.
