Volvo V60
2016 VOLVO V60: Within the Volvo exhibit during the 108th annual Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 13-21, are the new V60 and V60 Cross Country wagon models - the latest evolution of more than 60 years building station wagons body styles. Based on the S60 architecture, the V60 retains the coupe-like profile, yet increasing cargo space at the rear. The V60 T5 models come standard with a 240-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinders, teamed with the stock eight-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. A standard equipped start/stop feature automatically stops the engine when the vehicle comes to a stop and restarts when the driver releases the brake pedal. Buyers opting for the V60 T6 AWD R-Design receive a 3.0L inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces a satisfying 325-hp, as well as the advanced quick shift six-speed Geartronic automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. That combination propels the V60 R-Design from 0-to-60 mph in mere 5.5-seconds. New 17-inch "Pallene" alloy wheels are standard on T5 models while new 18-inch "Skadia" alloys can be fitted as a stand-alone option. An available Sport Chassis lowers ride height and stiffer body structure for that sporty yet luxurious feel. An incredible array of technology equipment is offered, including cutting edge collision warning with full auto brake, distance alert, driver alert control, lane keeping aid and lane departure warning. Additional goodies add keyless drive and a rear park assist camera. The luxurious five-passenger cabin comes with a standard 40/20/40-split rear seat, wide tailgate, and a generous 43.8-cu. ft. of cargo adds to the versatility for transporting cargo.
