2017 BMW X4: The 2017 BMW X4 is called a sports-activity coupe by the company, but it's really a four-door crossover SUV with a hatchback bodystyle that seats five. It competes with the Audi Q5, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque and Porsche Macan. For 2017, the xDrive35i model is dropped, and a new X4 M40i model is added. The xDrive28i model remains as the base X4.The xDrive28i is powered by a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 240 horsepower, while the M40i has a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that makes 355 horsepower. Both pair with 8-speed automatic transmissions, and both vehicles are all-wheel drive. The M40i has EPA-rated fuel economy of 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.Available features include navigation system, heated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, keyless entry, head-up display, rearview camera, 360-degree camera, USB, Bluetooth, satellite radio and power tailgate.
Available safety features include blind-spot detection and dual-front, front-side and curtain-side airbags.Base price for the 2017 BMW X4 is $46,245, including the $995 destination fee.
