2017 Fiat 500: The 2017 Fiat 500 is a four-seat city car that competes with vehicles like the Chevrolet Spark, Ford Fiesta, Mini Cooper and Smart ForTwo. It's available as a two-door coupe or convertible, and a performance version called Abarth is available. There is also an electric version of the 500.The 500 is powered by a 1.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 101 horsepower and pairs to either a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic transmission. The Abarth has a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 160 horsepower (157 with automatic transmission) and pairs to either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. That all-electric version makes 111 horsepower and pairs with a single-speed automatic transmission. The 500 is front-wheel drive.EPA-estimated fuel economy numbers for the 500 are 31 mpg city/40 mpg highway and 28/34 for the Abarth (24/32 with the automatic transmission).
The Fiat 500 and 500C convertible are offered in Pop, Lounge and Abarth, while the 500e electric-vehicle is offered in base and E-Sport trims. Available features include sunroof, spoiler, air conditioning, leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, navigation system, premium audio, infotainment, remote keyless entry, Bluetooth, satellite radio and USB port.Available safety features include dual-front, driver's knee, front-side and side-curtain airbags; stability control, traction control and rear-park assist systems.The 2017 Fiat 500 is assembled in Tolcua, Mexico, and it has a base price of $14,995.
