2017 Ford Focus: Available in sedan or hatchback form, the 2017 Ford Focus offers minor changes, including a new SEL trim level. It competes with the Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Accent, and Mazda 3. Sporty ST and RS variants are available, as is an electric model.There are several engines to choose from - a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 160 horsepower, a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder that makes 123 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 252 horsepower (ST), a 2.3-liter four-cylinder that makes 350 horsepower, and an 143-horsepower electric motor. Five- and six-speed manual transmissions and a six-speed automatic transmission are available, depending on trim level. The Focus is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on trim. EPA-estimated fuel economy for gas-powered models ranges from 19 mpg city to 40 mpg highway.The Focus is offered in several trims - S, SE, SEL, Titanium, ST, and RS. Available features include navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, satellite radio, Ford's Sync3 mulitmedia suite, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB, and rear spoiler.Available safety features include stability control, rear-view camera, and dual-front, front-side, driver-knee and side-curtain airbags.The 2017 Ford Focus has a base price of $16,775, not including dealer and destination fees.
