2017 Jeep Compass: Unveiled in the fall of 2016, the completely redesigned Compass is available with two- or four-wheel drive and is poised to compete with the Ford Escape and Hyundai Tucson.The five-seat Compass offers a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 180 horsepower and mates to one of three transmissions: A nine-speed automatic, a six-speed manual, or a six-speed automatic. There are two available four-wheel drive systems.Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, fog lamps, power liftgate, sunroof, tow hooks, dual-zone climate control, USB, heated front seats, satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth, and Chrysler's UConnect multimedia suite.Available safety features include stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, rear-view camera, rear-park assist, and dual-front, front-side, driver-knee and side-curtain airbags.
