2017 Kia Sportage: The 2017 Kia Sportage is a five-seat compact crossover. Competing with the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the Sportage gets freshened exterior styling, new tech features and upgraded interior materials for 2017.Sportage is powered by either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower or a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 240 horsepower. The Sportage is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and power gets to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers range from 21 mpg city to 30 mpg highway, depending on engine, drivetrain layout and trim.Three trim levels are offered: LX, EX and SX Turbo. Available features include fog lamps, rear spoiler, leather seats, heated front seats, cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, remote keyless entry, push-button start, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, infotainment system, Bluetooth, USB and satellite radio.Available safety features include anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, rear-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, autonomous emergency braking, lane-departure warning and dual-front, front-side curtain and full-length side-curtain airbags.The 2017 Kia Sportage has a base price of $22,990, not including dealer and destination fees.
