Competing with the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the Sportage gets freshened exterior styling, new tech features and upgraded interior materials for 2017.Sportage is powered by either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower or a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 240 horsepower. The Sportage is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and power gets to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers range from 21 mpg city to 30 mpg highway, depending on engine, drivetrain layout and trim.Three trim levels are offered: LX, EX and SX Turbo.
