2017 Lexus NX: The 2017 Lexus NX is a sporty compact crossover SUV that seats five and competes with the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It slots beneath the company's popular RX in the lineup, and it offers a hybrid version. For 2017, there are minor changes, and front-wheel drive models are discontinued as all-wheel drive is now standard.The NX comes in two flavors: NX 200t and NX 300h. The 200t has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 235 horsepower, while the NX 300h uses a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor for a total system horsepower of 194. The NX 200t has a six-speed automatic transmission and is available with either front- or all-wheel drive, while the NX 300h is all-wheel-drive only. Fuel economy is EPA-estimated at 22 mpg city/28 mpg highway (22/27 for the AWD model with available F Sport package) for the 200t and 33/30 for the hybrid.Available features include fog lamps, Bluetooth, satellite radio, premium audio, USB, navigation, heated seats, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, power liftgate, moonroof, wireless cell-phone charging, and remote control via app for certain vehicle functions.Available safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure alert, stability control, rear-view camera, traction control and dual-front, front-side, driver-knee and front and side-curtain airbags.The base price for the 2017 Lexus NX is $35,085, not including dealer and destination fees.
