The Z has a little niche carved out for itself, as its closest competitors are four-seat pony cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang. It carries over mostly unchanged for 2017. A higher-performance NISMO version is available.There's one engine for non-NISMO models - a 3.7-liter V6 that makes 332 horsepower. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. The 370Z is rear-wheel drive and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway for manual-transmission models and 19/26 for automatic-transmission models. The NISMO model has a 3.7-liter V6 that makes 350 horsepower. It's also available with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. It shares fuel-economy numbers with the non-NISMO models.There are four trims: base, Touring, Sport and Sport Tech. Available features include leather seats, heated seats, premium audio, navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth, USB, and cruise control.Available safety features include stability control, traction control, rear-view camera, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.The 2017 Nissan 370Z has a base price of $29,990, not including destination fees.
