2018 GMC Terrain: GMC has completely redesigned the Terrain for 2018, giving it fresh styling, additional features and new engine offerings. The Terrian is a compact crossover SUV that shares a platform with the Chevrolet Equinox. It seats five passengers and competes with the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Rogue, and Toyota RAV4.Available engines include a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 170 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 252 horsepower, and a 1.6-liter diesel four-cylinder engine that makes 137 horsepower. The gas engines will pair with a nine-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel will match to a six-speed automatic. Front-drive is standard and all-wheel drive offered across the board.Available features will include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, infotainment system, premium audio, navigation, power liftgate, and heated steering wheel. Safety features include 360-degree camera, forward-collision alert, low-speed forward automatic braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, lane-change alert, blind-spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert, teen-driver monitoring, rear park assist, rear-view camera, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.The 2018 GMC Terrain goes on sale this summer in SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali models.
