2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT: The 2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is a high-end two-door sports car that adds new models to its lineup. The AMG GT C coupe will join the AMG GT C convertible and AMG GT S and AMG GT R in the lineup. The AMG GT's styling is also updated to go along with performance upgrades and improved power. The AMG GT competes against the Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, and Porsche 911.Available engines include a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 469 horsepower, a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 515 horsepower, and a 4.0-liter V8 that makes 577 horsepower. The AMG GT is rear-wheel drive and all engines pair to a seven-speed automatic transmission.Available features include performance steering wheel, premium audio, carbon-fiber exterior enhancements, leather trim, a smartphone app that measures on-track performance, and cooled seats. Significant available safety features include stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and dual-front airbags.The roadster is expected to go on sale this summer and the GT R trim will launch this fall.
