2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD: The Chevrolet Silverado HD is all-new for 2020. It's been redesigned inside and out and it also gets all-new engines under the hood. Silverado 2500 and 3500 HD is a heavy-duty truck that seats 3 to 5 passengers depending on configuration. Competitors include the Ford Super Duty, Ram Heavy Duty, and GMC Sierra HD.
Rear-wheel-drive is standard with four-wheel-drive being optional. There are five different trims available: WT, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country. There are two engines available: A 6.6-liter V8 engine that produces 401 horsepower and pairs to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel V8 that produce 445 horsepower and mates to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 35,500 pounds.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $38,000 to $73,000.
