2020 Ford Edge: The 2020 Ford Edge remains unchanged for 2020, with new exterior colors being the only additions for the new year. Edge is a midsize crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. A high-performance variant called the ST is available. Competitors include the Chevrolet Equinox, Kia Sorento, Toyota 4Runner, Honda CR-V and Nissan Murano.
Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Four trims are available: SE, SEL, Titanium and ST. There are two different engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower and a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 that produces 335 horsepower in the ST trim. Both engines pair to a new 8-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $31,000 to $44,000.
