2020 Kia Forte: The Kia Forte sees the addition of two new sport trims for 2020. The Forte is a compact car that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door sedan. Competitors include the Toyota Corolla, Honda CIVIC, and Hyundai Accent.
Only front-wheel-drive is offered. Five trims are offered: FE, LXS, GT-Line, EX, GT. Two engines are available: A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 147 horsepower and a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 201 horsepower, which can pair to a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously-variable transmission (CVT).
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring. Pricing ranges from $17,000 to $23,000.
