2021 Kia Seltos: The Kia Seltos is all-new and will be first offered as 2021 model. Steltos is Kia’s smallest crossover offering. It seats 5 passengers and is available only as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Chevrolet Trax, Ford EcoSport, Honda HR-V and Nissan Kicks.
Front-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Five trims are offered: LX, EX, S 2.0L, S 1.6T, and SX. Two engines are available: A 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder that produces 146 horsepower and pairs to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and a 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder that produces 175 horsepower that pairs to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing starts at $22,000.
