2020 Lincoln Aviator: The Lincoln Aviator is all-new for 2020. The Aviator is a midsize, three-row SUV that seats 6 or 7 passengers depending on configuration. A plug-in hybrid variant is also available. Competitors include the Range Rover Velar, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and BMW X5.
Rear-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. There are four trims: Standard, Reserve, Grand Touring and Black Label. There are two engines available: A 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 400 horsepower and pairs to a 10-speed automatic, and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 paired to an electric motor that produces 450 horsepower in the plug-in hybrid. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 6,700 pounds.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $51,000 to $88,000.
