2020 Ram Heavy Duty: The Ram HD 2500 and 3500 see the addition of a Night Edition, safety tech like trailer blind-spot monitoring, and a 50-gallon fuel tank. The Ram HD is a heavy-duty pickup truck that seats 3 to 5 passengers depending on configuration. Competitors include the Ford Super Duty, Chevrolet Silverado HD, and GMC Sierra HD.

Rear-wheel drive is standard with four-wheel drive being optional. Cab sizes include: Regular Cab, Crew Cab, and Mega Cab. There are 7 trims: Tradesman, Big Horn, Lone Star, Power Wagon, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. Three engines are available: A 6.4-liter V-8 that produces 410 horsepower, a 6.7-liter turbodiesel Cummins V6 that produces 370 horsepower, and a high-output 6.7-liter turbodiesel Cummins V6 that produces 400 horsepower. The gasoline engine pairs to an automatic 8-speed transmission while the diesels get a 6-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 35,100 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $33,000 to $70,000.
