2020 Toyota Corolla: The Toyota Corolla is all-new for 2020. The Corolla is a compact car that's available as a 4-door sedan and 4-door hatchback. A hybrid variant is available. Competitors include the Honda Civic, Mazda 3, and Hyundai Veloster.
Only front-wheel-drive is available. There are five trims: LE, XLE, SE, Nightshade, and XSE. Two engines are offered: A 1.8-liter 4-cylinder that produces 139 horsepower and a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 169 horsepower. The hybrid uses a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder paired to an electric battery and motor and produces 121 total horsepower. Either a 6-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) are offered.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $19,000 to $25,000.
