2021 BMW M4: The coupe variant of the trailblazing M3, BMW’s M4 is all-new for 2021. Changes include new styling, more power and additional performance features. As before the M4 is available as a 2-door coupe or 2-door convertible. Direct rivals include the Audi RS 5 and Mercedes-AMG C 63 coupe and traditional sports cars including the Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette, Ford Mustang and Porsche 718.

Trim levels include M4 and M4 Competition. Both models are powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 473 horsepower in the standard model and 503 horsepower in the M4 Competition. A 6-speed manual transmission standard in the M4. Optional on that model and standard on the M4 Competition is an 8 -speed automatic. Currently the M4 is offered only with rear-wheel drive. However, BMW adds all-wheel drive (xDrive) to the option sheet in 2022.

Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, premium audio, Bluetooth, infotainment system with touch screen and gesture control, USB and head-up display. Safety features include blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, backup camera with rear-cross traffic alert, stability control and forward-collision warning. Prices range from $72,000 to $745,000.
