2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: The Chevrolet Silverado is a full-size pickup truck that's offered with rear- or four-wheel drive. Regular cab, double cab and crew cab bodystyles are offered and seat from 3 to 5 passengers. Regular cabs come with a long bed. Double cab gets a standard bed and Crew cab gets a standard or short bed. Changes for 2021 include a new infotainment system with support for wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, a multi-configurable tailgate and upgraded trailer-towing camera Competitors include the Ford F-150, GMC Sierra 1500, Nissan Tital, Ram 1500 and Toyota Tacoma.

WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trims are offered. Four powertrain combinations are offered: 4.3-liter V6 making 285 horsepower and 6-speed autpmatic, turbocharged 310-horsepower 2.7-liter 4-cylinder with 8-speed automatic, 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower and 10-speed automatic and 3.0-liter inline-6 turbodiesel that makes 277 horsepower and 10-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity is 9700 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. The multi-function tailgate opens a variety of ways. Pricing ranges from $31,000 to $66,000.
