2021 Ford Expedition: The Ford Expedition sees minor trim and package changes for 2021. Expedition is a full-size SUV that seats 7 or 8 passengers depending on configuration. Two sizes are offered, standard and XL, with the XL being almost 10 inches longer. Competitors include the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, Toyota Sequoia, and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Rear-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. There are five trims: XL, XLT, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum. Sole engine is a turbocharged 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 375 horsepower for most models and 400 horsepower in Platinum trim.  A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 15,300.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $51,000 to $77,000.
