2021 Ford Mustang: For 2021, the Ford Mustang sees the addition of a new high performance Mach 1 trim. Mustang is a rear-wheel-drive sports car that seats four passengers and is offered as a 2-door coupe and convertible. Competitors include the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger.
There are five different trims: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium and new Mach 1. Engine offerings include a turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder with 310 horsepower, a 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with 332 horsepower, a 5.0-liter V8 with 460 horsepower, a 5.0-liter V8 with 480 horsepower, Transmission offerings include a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic .
Convertibles has a power-folding fabric top and add more security features, but the rear seatbacks are not foldable. The new Mach 1 effectivly replaces the Bullitt and adds 19-inch wheels with high-performance tires, active exhaust system, sport suspension with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, digital gauge cluster and 8-inch touchscreen. Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $32,000 to $60,000.
