2021 Jeep Compass: Compass is a compact crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. It was last re-designed in 2017 and sees minor equipment shuffling, a new annicersaty edtion and, sadly the demise of its manual transmission option. Competitors include the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ford Escape, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Nissan Rogue, Subaru Forester, and Toyota RAV4.

Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. There are four trims available: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and off-road ready Trailhawk. Sole engine is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower. Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic on front-drive models and a 9-speed automatic with all-wheel drive. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 2,000 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $26,000 to $35,000.
