2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee:  Carrying along for 2021 alongside the new Grand Cherokee L is the Grand Cherokee. A midsize SUV that seats 5 passengers and comes only as a 4-door wagon. Changes for 2021 are modest and include a new 80th Anniversary Edition package and some minor equipment shuffling. Competitors include the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Edge, Honda Passport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Nissan Murano, Subaru Forester and Toyota 4Runner.

Rear-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. There are seven trim levels available: Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT and Trackhawk. There are four different engines: A 3.6-liter V6 that makes up to 295 horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 that makes 360 horsepower, a 6.4-liter V8 that makes 475 horsepower, and a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces 707 horsepower. All mate to 8-speed automatic transmissions.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $32,000 to $88,000.
