2021 Lexus RX: The RX is a midsize luxury two- or three-row crossover that's offered only as a 4-door wagon. Though there is only one bodysize, the RX  seats 5 or 7 passengers depending on configuration. Both gas and gas/electric hybrid versions are available. Changes for 2021 include an available wireless charging pad and the addition of blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert to the standard equipment list. Competitors include the Acura MDX, Audi Q5, BMW X5, Cadillac XT5, Infiniti Q60, Lincoln Nautilus, Jaguar F-Pace, and Volvo XC60.

Gas models are tagged RX 350 and hybrid models are tagged RX 450h. Both are available in Base and F Sport trim. The RX 350 gets a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 295 horsepower that pairs to an 8-speed automatic transmission. RX 450h models get a 3.5-liter V6 paired with electric motors and continuously variable automatic for a total output of 308 horsepower. On the RX 350, front-wheel-drive is standard and all-wheel drive optional. All RX 450h models are all-wheel drive. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $54,000 to $63,000.
