2021 Lexus UX: The UX is a subcompact crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. It is offered both as a gas and gas/electric hybrid. For 2021 UX adds blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert to the standard equipment list. Competitors include the Acura RDX, Audi Q3, BMW X2, Buick Encore GX, Cadillac XT4 and Volvo XC40.

Front-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. There are three trims available: Base, Sport and Luxury. Powertrains include a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 169 horsepower and a hybrid 2.0-liter 4-cylinder aided by two electric motors with a total power output of 181 horsepower. Both mate to a continuously variable transmission.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $36,000 to $42,000.
