Chevrolet Colorado Midnight Edition

2016 CHEVROLET COLORADO MIDNIGHT EDITION: Joining the Chevrolet Midnight Edition family of pickup trucks is the 2016 Colorado Midnight Edition. On display at the Chicago Auto Show, the ’16 Colorado Midnight Edition combines off-road equipment and monochromatic details, such as heavy duty suspensions, transfer case shield, hill descent control, black 18-inch wheels, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac all-terrain tires, all black front end, side moldings, special Z71 badges, and black Chevy bowties for the front and rear. Additional content includes a spray-on bedliner and soft, folding tonneau cover – both in black, of course – and Chevrolet-logo sill plates. Available LED under-rail box lights and moveable tie-downs can be added to the CornerStep rear bumper and pocket hand grips to make getting in and out of the bed easier. The Colorado Midnight Edition is available on LT models with the extended and crew cab bodies, in two-wheel or four-wheel drive configurations and with the 2.5L and 3.6L engines. It will also be available with the all-new 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine. All ’16 Colorado Midnight editions are rugged pickups. The available 3.6L V-6 offers 1,590 pounds of payload and up to 7,000 pounds maximum trailering. To help keep overall mass down, lightweight materials such as a segment-first aluminum hood are used. It also offers the segment’s first active aero grille shutters, designed to enhance aerodynamics when closed. New technologies include forward-collision alert, lane keep assist, lane-departure warnings, safety alert driver seat, front and back park assist and a backup camera. The Colorado Midnight Editions are as smart as strong, offering 4G LTE Wi-Fi, wireless charging, and Chevrolet MyLink with an eight-inch diagonal color touch-screen display.
