BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica: The BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica made its world debut at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. It's a specially-modified version of Chrysler's Pacifica minivan that's wheelchair accessible.Chrysler and BraunAbility uses what's called AccessAbility technology to create a wide door open for the side entry/exit ramp. This Pacifica seats seven or eight passengers, depending on configuration, and is all-new for 2017 - replacing the Town & Country.The Pacifica is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 287 horsepower. A hybrid model that pairs the V6 with an electric motor is available as well. The V6 pairs with a nine-speed automatic while the hybrid has a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT). The Pacifica is front-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers are 18 mpg city and 28 mpg highway for the gasoline-engine model.The Pacifica is available in five trim levels: LX, Touring, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus and Limited. Available features include LED fog lamps, power liftgate, tri-zone climate control, remote start, leather seats, heated/cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, stowaway second-row seats, second-row in-floor storage, stowaway third-row seats, sunroof, adaptive cruise control, heated steering wheel, satellite radio, Bluetooth, navigation, USB port, infotainment system, keyless entry and integrated vacuum.Available safety features include dual-front, front-knee and side-curtain airbags. Other available safety features include stability control, blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, rear-cross traffic detection, parking assist, rear-view camera and 360-degree camera.The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is built in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
