Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador: The Lamborghini Aventador is a sinister-appearing ultra-supercar, and it'son display during the Chicago Auto Show. Note how alien the $400,000+ Aventador appears when compared to the civilized and practical compact cars across the aisle. Comments heard from the crowds are how the Lamborghini Aventador is a 21-century Batmobile, or a road version of the stealth fighter bomber. Available in coupe or convertible form, the Aventador is propelled by its 6.5-liter V12 powerplant that generates up to 750 horsepower depending on trim. This engine can be seen under the transparent engine cover, and it mates to a sophisticated seven-speed automated-manual gearbox. The Aventador has an all-wheel drive layout andstability and traction control. At all four corners are high-gloss painted alloy rims, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear, with orange brake calipers peeking through split five-spoke design. The wheels are wrapped in high-performance tires. The leather upholstered two-seat cockpit offers Bluetooth and a navigation system. Constructed of lightweight carbon-fiber material, this Italian supercar streaks from 0-to-62 mph in an astounding 2.9 seconds, and easily reaches a claimed top speed of 217 mph.
