2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV: The Chevrolet Bolt EV remains mostly unchanged, with a range increase from 238 to 259 miles and new high-definition rearview and surrounding cameras being the only changes for 2020. Bolt EV is a compact electric car that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door hatchback. Competitors include the Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model 3 and BMW i3.

Only front-wheel drive is offered. Two trims are available: LT and Premier. There is only one drivetrain available: An electric motor that produces 150 kW of power, equivalent to 200 horsepower. It is paired to a single-speed transmission. In DC fast charging the battery could offer up to 100 miles of range in 30 minutes.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $37,000 to $42,000.
