2020 Honda Pilot: The Honda Pilot remains unchanged but sees the addition of a new Black Edition trim. Pilot is a three-row crossover that seats eight passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Chevrolet Traverse, Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander.
Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. There are five trim levels available: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition. There's only one engine available: A 3.5-liter V6 that makes 280 horsepower and pairs to either a 6- or 9-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 5,000 pounds.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $31,000 to $50,000.
