2020 Kia Soul: The Kia Soul is all-new for 2020. The Soul is a compact car that seats 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door wagon. An electric version called Soul EV is also available. Competitors include the Fiat 500L, Mini Cooper Hardtop 4-Door and Mini Cooper Countryman.
Only front-wheel-drive is offered. There are six trims available: LX, S, X-Line, GT-Line, EX, and EX Designer Collection. Three engines are available: A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 147 horsepower, a 1.6-liter twin-turbo 4-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower, and the Soul EV features an electric motor that produces 201 horsepower. All gasoline-powered models are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $17,000 to $28,000.
