2020 Lexus LS: The Lexus LS 500 gets a new Inspiration Series variant for 2020, which features 20-inch special wheels, a white and black interior, and a model-specific Unique Deep Garnet color. A hybrid variant is also offered. The LS 500 is a luxury car that seats 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door sedan. Competitors include the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, Jaguar XJ, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
Rear-wheel-drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Four trims are available: LS 500, LS 500 F Sport, LS 500h, and LS 500 Inspiration Series. Two engines are offered: A 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 416 horsepower and pairs to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and a 3.5-liter V6 paired to two electric motors that produce a total of 354 horsepower in the LS 500h.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $75,000 to $101,000.
