2020 Volkswagen Passat: The Volkswagen Passat gets an exterior and interior refresh for 2020, in addition to an upgraded engine and tech offerings. The Passat is a midsize car that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door sedan. Competitors include the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Mazda 6.
Only front-wheel-drive is available. Four trims are offered: S, SE, R-Line, and SEL. There is only one engine available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 174 horsepower and pairs with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing has yet to be announced.
