2021 Chevrolet Camaro: The Chevrolet Camaro remains mostly unchanged, with only a few updates to packages and technology. Camaro is an iconic sports car that seats 4 passengers and is available as a 2-door coupe and convertible. Competitors include the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. New for 2021 is a Wild Cherry exterior color and two design packages that includes features such as black metallic hash mark strips, 20-inch aluminum wheels, ground effects, center stripes and more. Also new is the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
There are five different trims: LS, LT, LT1, SS, and ZL1. Three engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 275 horsepower, a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 335 horsepower, a 6.2-liter V8 that produces 455 horsepower, and a 6.2-liter SC V8 that produces 650 HP. There are three transmissions available: A 6-speed manual, an 8-speed automatic and a 10-speed automatic. Only rear-wheel drive is offered.
A 7-inch infotainment touchscreen that integrates with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard while an 8-inch screen is available on LT models and above. Available driver-assist technology includes, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, heads-up display, rear park assist, rear cross traffic alert. adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights.
