2021 Ford EcoSport: Ford's smallest crossover debuted in 2018 and sees litle change in 2021. EcoSport is a sub-compact crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon with a swing open tailgate. Competitors include the Chevrolet Trax, Fiat 500X, and Mazda CX-3.

Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. There are four trims available: S, SE, SES and Titanium. The EcoSport offers two engines: A 1.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 123 horsepower and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 166 horsepower. Both engines mate to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 2,000 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $21,000 to $29,000.
