2021 Ford Edge: The 2021 Edge adds the Sync4 infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen and a new 7-speed automatic on ST models. Edge is a midsize crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Chevrolet Equinox, Kia Sorento, Toyota 4Runner, Honda CR-V and Nissan Murano.

Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel-drive being optional. Four trims are available: SE, SEL, ST and Titanium . All but the ST get a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower and 8-speed automatic transmission. ST models get a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 that produces 335 horsepower and 7-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $32,000 to $51,000.
