2021 Jeep Renegade:  Renegade is a compact crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. New for 2021 are anniversary, Islander and Jeepster special editions. Competitors include the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ford EcoSport, Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, Kia Soul, Mazda CX-30, Nissan Rogue Sport and Subaru Crosstrek.

Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Trim levels include Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Engine choices include a turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder that makes 177 horsepower and a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower. The 1.4-liter is available with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic while the 2.4-liter comes with the 9-speed standard.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring. The new Jeepster edition adds 19-inch aluminum whels, gross-black grille, black cloth seats with gray accents and exterior decals. Anniversary edition includes 19-inch metallic gray wheels, 8.4-inch touchscreen navi, black cloth seats with gunmetal accents, black headliner, upgraded floor mats and decorative badging. Islander includes 19-inch silver wheels, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, hood decals, embroidered seats with unique tags and blue accent piping. Pricing ranges from $26,000 to $33,000.
