2021 Lexus NX: The NX is a compact luxury crossover that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Both gas and gas/electric versions are offered. For 2021, changes are minor and include the addition of blind-spot monitoring and auto-dimming exterior mirrors to the standard equipment list. Competitors include the Acura RDX, Audi Q5, BMW X3, Cadillac XT4, Infiniti QX50, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Jaguar E-Pace, and Volvo XC40.

NX is offered in Base, F Sport and Luxury trim. Engine offerings include a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 235 horsepower and a gas/electric hybrid 2.5-liter 4-cylinder with an electric motor that produces 194 horsepower. The gas engine gets 6-speed automatic transmission while the hybrid utilizes a continuously variable automatic. Gas models offer front- or all-wheel drive. Hybrid models are all-wheel drive.

Available driver-assist technology includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rearview camera with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlights. Pricing ranges from $42,000 to $51,000.
